Medium strength nicotine pouches sit between the lower and higher strength categories in our range. The category allows you to compare products containing 6-9 mg/g of nicotine, although the actual amount per pouch and the effects can differ from one product to another.

Nicotine Content in Medium Strength Snus: mg/g and mg/pouch
As well as the nicotine content in mg/g, the amount per pouch (mg/pouch) is important when comparing products. Pouches can vary in weight, so two products with the same nicotine content per gram may contain different total amounts of nicotine per pouch.
Here's an example: imagine two products that both contain 7 mg of nicotine per gram. One pouch weighs 0.6 g, while the other weighs 0.7 g.
- 0.6 g pouch: 7 mg/g x 0.6 g = 4.2 mg of nicotine per pouch
- 0.7 g pouch: 7 mg/g x 0.7 g = 4.9 mg of nicotine per pouch
The second pouch contains more nicotine overall, despite both products having the same mg/g rating. Always bear in mind that the amount contained in a pouch isn't the same as the amount released or absorbed by the body.
